Music is a universal language. It speaks to people from every walk of life, no matter their race, religion, or language. Metal music specifically is a global language that touches all parts of the world. The ability that music has to bring people together is not only limited to those who can directly hear it. Hearing impaired people are still able to experience music, and even moreso, they can still reap the benefits of feeling a part of a community. The metal community is strong due to its anti-mainstream approach, and people support each other and stand together as one. It is a community of people who understand what it’s like to be a little bit different. I sought to bring these communities together and give people who are normally considered slightly unconventional, a place where they won't feel ignored.
