Resocialization for Formerly Incarcerated People
by John Lee

Resocialization for Formerly Incarcerated People is an NGO proposal, which is a cannabis farm that provides reliable and fair economic employment opportunities to the formerly incarcerated people and partners with other NGOs to improve other people negatively affected by the Prison Industrial Complex through its financial asset.

Resocialization for Formerly Incarcerated People is an NGO proposal in response to the current trend of legalization of Cannabis and the Prison Industrial Complex. The project starts with research on the roots of the ban of Cannabis through the use of manipulative and racist propaganda and scapegoating starting in the 1930s. The research continues on to the Prison Industrial Complex. Then, the project presents the speculative NGO proposal based on the research. The NGO is a cannabis farm that provides reliable and fair economic employment opportunities to the formerly incarcerated people. Then, with the financial assets the NGO gains through the business of Cannabis farming, it works in partnership with other NGOs to improve people negatively impacted by the Prison Industrial Complex.
